About
Asked by TCOB Marketing to design and produce a portable scale model of Hong Kong, for a Mini Miniature Grandprix. A Scalextric track wound its way through diverse scenery for a promotion for Mini Cars. Four sets of Mini racing cars sped their way along highways, mountain roads, past a small construction site, across Tsing Ma bridge, over to Kwai Chung container port, finally arriving in Central Hong Kong.
At 3.5m long, complete with full LED lighting and scale advertising billboards, the model generated a lot of interest as it went on tour around nine El Grande bars in Hong Kong.
