The Library of Curiosity, Interactive exhibits of mechanical art

The Library Of Curiosity is a menagerie of mechanical wonders and curiosities. It is a collection of interactive exhibits we created for Hong Kong’s Clockenflap festival. Inspired by the concept of Victorian curiosity cabinets, we created our own cabinets of curiosities, making them interactive and full of humour and surprise. Each exhibit was hand crafted in house and housed in a beautiful wooden display case. The exhibits range from push button automata, to sensor triggered pieces, each with a unique story to tell.

  • Alfred – An animated and talking skeleton
  • The Pea Popper
  • Whose Telephone
  • James the snail
  • Ganglion Saliva
  • Ferroswamp
  • Infinity Pea

The Library was geared for all ages, delighting both children and grown-ups. A complex combination of clever and simply ridiculous concepts with wood, brass, motors, sensors and animatronics.
